Comme je n'ai pas la pretention d'aller chercher Yen sur son terrain du 'je photographie mon dejeuner' — elle le fait excellemment, quand je suis content si je garde mes doigts hors du champ — il vous faudra me croire sur parole: les burgers etaient bons, et pareil pour la panna cotta sur pain d'epices.
Quoiqu'il en fut, un du-jour etait dû, et quand Ludo (co-patron du Monkey's) et Elvis s'installerent dehors pour une séance de terrasse a la Parisienne (comprendre dos au mur et en rang pour mater les meufs), je sûs que mon heure etait viendue…
I wouldn't dare try and go toe-to-toe with Yen as far as winging foodstuff pictures — she's just too good and I'm barely past the "finger clear of the lens" stage of photography proficiency — so you'll have to take my word for it: the burgers were good, and so was the panna cotta on spice bread.
Still, something had to get shot, and when Ludo (half of the Monkey's leading duet) and Elvis decided to sit in front of the joint for a by-the-book Parisien galspotting séance, I knew that was it.
